Content is king, this has been a common phrase in the blogosphere. However, readership also plays a major part in establishing your blog and getting good traffic. One of the ways to build readership is writing good posts, of course, and getting visitors read them. However, readers do not find all articles interesting. Only the few good written ones strikes attention.

So how do you make your blog posts and articles get read and enjoyed? Here are six good tips that will make your posts and articles readable and interesting.

5. Use real life situations that can be adopted by the reader. Readers always love to read articles to which they could very much relate to. Personalizing your articles by stating real life situations and personal experiences can be one way of connecting with your readers.
6. Use good descriptions and metaphors to drive in your point. Just don’t overdo it. Driving your examples with metaphorical situations and similes would make it easy for them to imagine what you are talking about, making the experience pleasurable and enjoyable for them.
7. Use pictures and figures. This puts “life” to your articles. Pictures always speak a thousand words, and that includes what you are trying to stress out to your readers.
