Overcome blogger’s block in 3 simple ways!

How to Overcome Writer's Block

Sometimes, we just run out of ideas on what to post on our blogs. Being a blogger myself, I’ve had several dose of those “blogger blocks” before. I write for 3 blogs (my main blog and health blog). Most of the time, I could only come up of a title but could not formulate the content that I always end up with more that 5 drafts stuck in my dashboard. See, writing is not that easy. Lately though, I found great ways to overcome blogger’s (or writer’s) block.

1. Browse other blogs. From their posts, you can give your own two cents or comment about it. Recently, there’s also the “Round-Up” type of posts. You gather some notable posts in the blog neighborhood, link to these posts and give your short description.

2. Read Yahoo! News, New York Times, Google News, or any news portal. You may find “bloggable” articles where you can give an opinion about it. Reading articles can evoke your creativity.

3. Dig up your old magazines. Magazines are great source of practical tips and articles. Old articles means it maybe outdated. You can resolve it by searching updated information about it.
