Where to find free TextPattern themes?
TextPattern, otherwise known as TXP, is a free, flexible, elegant, easy-to-use content management system for all kinds of websites, even weblogs. Although it is a great blogging cms, there aren’t many good templates and themes available for use. That’s why I made a compiled links for some of the good sites where you can find TXP themes and templates.
1. Tempate Panic - You can find one available theme for TextPattern which is named Textpattern in Maroon. Textpattern in Maroon is a Textpattern template based on a Wordpress theme, Fadtastic Theme by Andrew Faulkner. It has the liquid main column and fixed side columns. Tested successfully with Textpattern 4.0.3
2. Kaushal Sheth is a renowned WordPress theme maker. His themes reaches thousands of download. Great thing he also made some of his popular WordPress theme available for TextPattern.
3. Textpattern Templates is a website offering free templates for Textpattern ported from other blogging software. One of the themes available is the BlogginPro for TXP which was originally made for WordPress by DesignDesease for the popular BloggingPro weblog. It is a very stylish Web2.0 design with three columns.
4. Text Garden is a central repository of downloadable Textpattern layout themes. Some of the themes available are made for the TextPattern Template Competition.
